💛 As you all know, the reason we’re leaving The Victoria is a personal one — and it all comes down to my dad. His treatment comes to an end this week, and now we begin the four‑month wait for his scan. It’s a long, heavy wait… but he’s faced every single moment of this journey with a strength that’s honestly unbelievable. 💙 My dad has been the definition of courage. He’s walked into every appointment with his head high. He’s kept his humour when things were tough. He’s stayed strong for us, even when he was the one who needed the strength. That’s who he is. That’s the man we’re fighting for. That’s the man my brother is honouring. 🌟 My brother is taking on a charity skydive — all for Dad. Jumping out of a plane to raise money, raise awareness, and show him just how loved he is. It’s his way of saying: “Dad, your strength inspires mine.” 💪 And this is where our Vic family comes in. If you can donate — amazing. If you can’t, even a simple message for my dad to read would mean the absolute world. From the very first moment we walked through those doors, you lot wrapped us up in warmth, chaos, and kindness. You made us feel at home before we’d even learned where half the cellar switches were. You gave us laughter on the days we needed it most, support when life got heavy, and memories we’ll be talking about for years. From the Friday karaoke madness — where some of you were convinced you were destined for stardom — to the chilled weekday afternoons where we actually got to chat, breathe, and enjoy the little moments… every bit of it has meant something. We’ve met people who’ve become true friends. We’ve shared jokes, tears, hugs, and those quiet “are you alright?” moments that meant more than you’ll ever know. You’ve been the heart of this pub — the reason we showed up, stayed late, and kept going even when life was throwing curveballs. We’re not gone yet though. We’ve still got four weeks left — so let’s make them unforgettable. Let’s fill them with big laughs, big nights, and big memories.
